A Better Floor Starts Below the Surface

Coating performance is decided by two things: the material you put down and the concrete you put it on. We don’t compete on being the cheapest. We compete on being the best, and most of that work happens before the first coat.

  • Concrete is mechanically ground so the coating has the surface it needs to bond correctly.
  • The slab is evaluated before anything is applied — age, cracks, and how the space is used.
  • Moisture mitigation is used when the concrete calls for it.
  • Premium materials are applied at the correct thickness, not stretched thin.
  • The system is sealed with a protective topcoat.
  • Every layer is installed for durability first and appearance second — you get both.

The Right Coating for the Way You Use Your Space

Different floors take different abuse. We match the system to the traffic, the exposure, and the finish you want to live with.

Polyaspartic Coatings

Extreme durability with excellent UV resistance. Designed to resist stains, chemicals, hot-tire pickup, and yellowing while providing a sleek, long-lasting finish.

Best suited for

  • Garages
  • Shops
  • High-traffic areas
  • Areas exposed to sunlight

Flaked Epoxy

Colored flakes create a seamless, multi-toned appearance with added texture and slip resistance.

  • Residential garages
  • Commercial spaces
  • Laundromats
  • Shops
  • Showrooms
  • Locker rooms

  • Commercial floors
  • Work areas
  • High-traffic spaces
  • Customers wanting added texture

Self-Leveling Epoxy

Designed for new, old, or damaged concrete floors where a smoother and more level finished surface is needed.

  • — Multiple colors and decorative designs
  • — Slip resistance
  • — Heat resistance
  • — Chemical resistance
  • — 100% solids PolyBlend topcoat
  • — UV-resistant finish

Anti-Static Epoxy

Designed to reduce static hazards by helping ground and dissipate electrical discharge.

Best suited for

  • — Electronic manufacturing
  • — Healthcare environments
  • — Areas with combustible dust concerns
  • — Specialized workspaces

Clear Topcoats

A final protective layer that locks in color, adds depth, and helps resist UV exposure, chemicals, abrasion, and long-term wear.

It is the layer you walk on, park on, and clean — so it is the layer we never thin out to save money.

Why 100% solids matter

What You Pay for Should Stay on Your Floor

Armor Flooring Idaho uses 100% solids systems. Once the material is properly applied and cured, it is designed to stay on the floor rather than losing part of its volume as it dries.

100% Solids

Material remaining after curing

  • Greater finished thickness
  • Stronger protective layer
  • Better resistance
  • More material remaining after curing

Lower-Solids Blends

Part of the product can dissipate

  • Part of the product dissipates
  • Less material remains
  • Shallower finished coating
  • Potentially less long-term resistance

As one example, a 70/30 blend can mean roughly 70% of the applied material remains after curing while the rest dissipates. Blends vary by product, so ask what is actually being installed on your floor.

Our process

A Professional Floor Without the Guesswork

  1. 01

    Inspect the Concrete

We review the floor’s age, condition, cracks, moisture concerns, and how you intend to use the space.

  2. 02

    Prepare the Surface

The concrete is mechanically ground to create the proper surface profile so the coating can bond correctly. No acid-wash shortcuts.

  3. 03

    Install the Coating System

We apply the selected epoxy, flake, quartz, polyaspartic, or specialty system with attention to coverage, thickness, and finish.

  4. 04

    Protect the Finished Floor

The appropriate protective topcoat goes on, and we walk you through curing, care, and when the space can return to normal use.

Lifetime wear warranty

A Premium Floor Should Come With Premium Protection

Armor Flooring Idaho backs qualifying installations with a lifetime wear warranty. That protection exists because of what goes into the floor: the materials we choose, the preparation we insist on, and the crews who install it.

  • Confidence in the materials
  • Confidence in the preparation
  • Confidence in the installation
  • Long-term customer protection

Warranty terms, coverage, exclusions, and eligibility depend on the selected coating system and project conditions. Contact Armor Flooring Idaho for complete warranty details.

FAQ

Questions Worth Asking

Ask any coating contractor these same questions. The answers tell you a lot about what you are actually buying.

They cure differently and perform differently. Epoxy systems build a thick, hard base layer. Polyaspartic systems cure faster and hold up better to UV exposure. We recommend a system based on your space, how it is used, and the result you want.
